XMTV Player

XMTV Player is a robust video player that not only lets you watch any videos saved to your Android's memory but also lets you view VOD streams and even share them with friends.

By default XMTV Player supports a wide array of video formats: AVI, MOV, MKV, FLV, AVI, ASF, WMV, MP4, M4V, TP, TS, MTP, and M2T. Plus in the options you'll find the option to activate a child lock so that once you start playing a video a password has to be entered to switch to another one.

That said, where XMTV Player really shines is in video streaming. From the plugins tab (or here on Uptodown) you can download different add-ons that make it possible to stream dozens of different channels: music, cinema, TV, sports channels, and more.

XMTV Player is an excellent video player that may not have a particularly pretty or elegant interface but does boast an impressive array of features. Whether you want to watch movies downloaded to your device memory or stream web content, you're looking at a very decent alternative to keep in mind.
